[b]People myself

[b]Duration all day

[b]Tide rising

[b]Weather savage

[b]Bait crab and lures

[b]Rigs running ledger

[b]Results no gilt heads but pollock saves the day.

[b]Report i had a day to myself so decided to have a go at catching my first gilt head bream.the weather was nice and I was feeling confident but first a quick stop off in dans to get some bait and then I was on my way.i arrived at mark around low water conditions looked good that was until I got on beach and realised that the water was full of weed great start!!.i fished on for 2 hours but I was wasting my time line was full of weed.luckily I always have the spinning rod with me so off to a spot that produces pollack on a rising tide, got down to the mark and started casting every lure in my box for the next 2 hours but nothing,at this stage I had enough so got to car I was just about to leave when I spotted a opening in a field which led Down to more sheltered water. I decided to give it a go and it was a decision that paid off for the next 2 hours I had a fish nearly every cast biggest around 5lb which put up a great scrap on the light gear I headed home wrecked but happy .

Plenty of time to get a Bream; nearly sure they hand around until October some years, at least the Pollock kept ya busy.
