went looking for smoothies and saw 2 caught early in the evening.
spent the evening feeding whiting with our crab and decided to head back upthe wall at full tide. Had 1 last cast rear where we parked and in 10 seconds hit a ray. First one ever so nice touch. No idea how to put a pic up from my phone btw. . Was about 6 lb i was told but had no scales.

Well done with the Ray, 6lb is a tidy fish.
The smoothies seem to be slow to get going this year.

We've had them on the boat anchored between half moon and lighthouse on bay side about 200 yards from pier wall. Up to 15lbs. They are back alright
