Mon Apr 14, 2014 1:28 pm

People: Myself, Derek, Ben, John and Dan

Duration: about 3-4

Tide: Just caught the high tide as running late waiting around for people

Weather: Sunny then breezy and sunny

Bait: Lug and Rag and poppers

Rigs: Single hook and double flapper

Results: 1 bass (8lbs)

Report:
Was told about a area in W. Waterford so we decided yesterday to head up to Dungarvan for some bass bashing, this was not the case :(
So we arrived at around 5.20 and high tide was 5.30 so straight away on the back foot. Took around 10 mins to walk from car park to location. Bass were coming clean out of the water, no more than 5 foot from the shore. We spaced out and all of a sudden we hear Derek shouting ''I'm in'' so he had a nice fight and not from very far out a nice 8lbs bass, 2 hook flapper with lug and rag, took the rag. I still believe the lug brought him in though as we didnt get a single knock once we were out of lug. Headed to a rock mark not far off at low water and it the best thing about it was the fire we lit to keep warm hah
Heading back tomorrow with more lug, hopefully anyway. Dammm WORK :( Il throw up a picture later of the fish.

Lost a spinner and popper straight away. Need new line and poppers :(
