People: Mé féin
Duration:18:00 until 22:30
Tide:spring - high at about 20:00
Weather:clear sky, mild, calm wind & sea
Bait:fresh lug from Joe's in Courtown
Rigs:1 hook paternoster, size 1/0 hook, 1.5oz bomb weight
Results:2 schoolie bass, 2 codling & 2 pin whiting
Report:All the fish were tiny but I must admit it was the most enjoyable night's fishing I've had in years. A clear mild night with a big bright full moon. The noise of the small waves gently rolling onto the beach. At the beginning of the evening, approaching dusk before I'd caught any fish, I spotted the only other angler in the vicinity - a sea otter!

well done john would have liked a session like that last night only pin whiting and a dog to show for 6 hours fishing but on a brighter note there was a small pup hound got down the beach so with a bit of luck there on the way

nice one on the bass john
but sometimes on a night like that, it's just nice to get out there and sit back and unwind
