People: just me
Duration: 12am - 2.30pm
Tide: 1 hour rising and 1 and a half hour dropping
Weather: wet windy cold bitter
Bait: frozen mackerel
Rigs: 2 and 3 hook flappers
Results: lots of whiting 1 codling 2 dabs 1 flounder
Report: the weather was always going to be against me but the mark i was going to seemed to be safe ... first cast produced two good whiting .... second cast 2 good whiting .... 3rd cast 1 pin whiting and tiny dab ..... then a huge storm came and the tripod fell over and i had to reel in both rods and sit in the car for a half hour till the storm stopped ... both the rods had a whiting each , all of this was on the incoming tide. The storm stopped and i got the rods out again as the tide was going out .... first cast gave a good flounder ... second cast a whiting ..... the whiting kept coming in and later on i got a good dab well over a pound weight ... one small codling was caught aswell .... another storm started then and i was happy enough and went home
