Report:hit a mark in Waterford in search for some nice codling. Unfortunitly the cod didn't want to play ball and all we caught was flounder every cast. All the flounder were averaging 30cm and over . I was happy enough with that. Best fish of the day came on the last cast. I said one more cast for the road and 5 mins later I got a good knock on the rod. I lifted into it and it felt a bit better. Another flounder which measured 40 cm so I was well chuffed with that. It was a good busy session but no codling . At least it wasn't a blank.
