People:me and 10 other club members plus a few others

Duration:3pm - 8pm

Tide:drop low and fill

Weather:not too bad

Bait:mainly rag and mackerel

Rigs:mostly 3 hook flappers

Results:won with 7 or 8 counters


Report:most fish caught were flounder codling and rockling
biggest was a 33cm flounder, biggest codling 30cm
most fish in the 15 - 25 cm bracket
one of the other group fishing at the car park got a dog, didnt see them getting anything else.
majority of fish were caught very close in and very little at distance

Afternoon Phil,

well done at glenarm beach.

I like this mark but I have yet to take any decent fish as opposed to the breakwater where I tend to do much better.

I saw plaice up to 2.5lb taken from here last summer....

Our next club event is 02 Feb, a Waterfoot Roving event - can't wait.

prefer the breakwater myself as to the beach though it does through up the very occasional surprise good fish!! - the very odd bass and a cuckoo ray was got a couple of years back
