2013 Best Year So Far

Just a quick review of the highlights of the past year.
This was easily my best year so far.
My only regret is still not getting a smoothhound but Stef West has promised to sort that next year.

1st up is the sea trout I got back in March I think. My 1st ever as well.



This was followed by my son Logan getting his 1st beach caught fish a few weeks later.



Fast forward on to June and the Ray session with " Big Fish" . We caught and released about 50 odd Ray to 8lbs.



Then as I've already posted was my fish of the year. A fish I will never forget.



The mackerel even turned up in numbers from August to September.
My self and the kids had a good bit of crack with these and filled the freezer too



The final hightlight was my PB flounder.



All in all a great year hopefully 2014 is as good to me.

Also a big thank you to everyone off the site and Marto "big fish" for their help during the year.

thats a great flounder, what weight is in the bass?? and, whats the fish your son got - looks like a turbot or a brill from this angle.?
to top it all off your son is a Liverpool supporter, smart kid

Some great fishing trips there Freedom1916, esp. the bass. You'll do well to top that in 2014.
