Report:got the itch after looking at a view good reports around dublin. so decided to hit my local mark south of the city, got to mark baited up a black and a yellow lug on the beach rod , banged it out as far as i could. few mins later into a whiting (i thought to myself not another season of bait strippers) anyways he was small.

had second rod ready after i landed the whiting, i said to myself il drop one in close to c if any wrasse were hanging around, rod in went back to bait beach rod and as i was baiting it up the beach rod my spinner rod in close took a big knock i picked it up and gave it a gave it a few moments before striking into it, boom missed the fish( biggest bite of the day. needless to say i was not happy after that) so then i concentrated in close as all that being taken at distance was whiting ... ...
so went with two rods in close , around 10mins passed and finally got more action, this time struck into it and landed a codling, sweet beats a wrasse any day, soon after landed another codling around the 1lb mark, ran out of bait so i packed up and split... going back that mark soon with a shed load of bait. fingers crossed

sorry about the pics had to crop em big style
