Report:Lovely calm night. Got to the spot a little after 7pm. Rigged up first rod with Mack, within 5 mins had a 1lb coalie. rigged the second rod with rag and lug, half an hour later landed a 41cm Bass. Had a couple more coalies over the next hour or so, then a nicer tap on the rod produced a lovely 44cm Bass (Happy Days!). I fished on for another hour with just a whiting to show for it, he had almost digested the hook so he had to come home with me. I gave up a little after that and reeled in with some weight on the line, only to discover i had another 40cm Bass on. Lovely way to end the session. All the Bass were returned alive, and with a bit of difficulty i even managed to get a scale sample from one of them. All in all a good night fishing and good fun.
