People: me and a buddy

Duration:5 hours

Tide: rise and drop

Weather:nice calm and warm

Bait:mack, lug, crab all frozen

Rigs:pulley and 2 hook flapper

Results: 4 doggies




Report: headed west last nite n search of an elusive first bass, with no joy,
got to the beach around 8 with a buddy on his first sea venture,
set up my rods and his 1, mine with a pulley at distance and flapper close in,
varied baits tru nite an odd few bites, after bout an hour got a good knock on my pulley,
first dog of the nite, on crab too the pest, after another cast or two knock on the flapper,
dog again, but been a while since i got 2 so happy out,
next the buddy got his first knock with a nice dog again, so hes happy out,
got a knock on my pulley and a fight comin in but lost it in the shallows, prob a dog but im not sure :twisted:
last cast of the nite got another nice doggie, so all in all not a bad nite with 3 fish :D
buddy lost 1 on his last too but prob a dog again,
not a bad nite no pics tho, but a good nite will go again in search of a bass or 2 haha
all fish were put back

Great to get a session in John, hard luck on the bass hunt but wait till you get your first hook up, it's a buzz 8) best of look on the next trip,

Had much the same results ourselves on an East Cork beach last weekend, at least the Doggies kept ya entertained.
