Report:
Had the evening free so decided to head to a rock mark that has been fishing well recently.
Stopped of at mick in fanore to pick up some frozen sandeel and a few bits and bobs, then off we went to the mark ..... had never fished the mark before but found what we were looking for after a 10 -15min walk
Set up and baited the first rig with a nice big sandeel clipped it down and off it went

wasnt sure how far out the sand was as one person said 70yrds and another said 165yrds

was probably hitting between 80-100yrds all night and didnt lose one rig

First cast produced a good sized doggie, this continued on for the next few cast with dog after dog after dog the bottom must have been full with them only had to wait 5 mins before the rod started nodding away
Inbetween the dogs got a nice rattle and brought in a small ray(not sure what species)hopefully someone can identify it
A few dogfish later got a nice sharp pull down on the rod tip which resulted in a nice pollack around 3 1/2lbs
after that a few more dogs followed until the midgies got too much for dad so we packed up
will have to bring the mosquito repelant next time
all in all an enjoyable night to be out with plenty of fish

all fish were returned alive
