Chenz116 & I decided to hit the rocks after work on Friday in search of some Wrasse. The mark we went to always produces so we had high hopes. The sun was shining and the sausages were on the BBQ. We set up our float rigs and sat back enjoying the sun whilst concentrating on the little orange floats waiting for a bite. Not long after an hour I had my first bite and it produced a nice Golden Ballan (first of the year) so I was happy. We took a quick photo and released the fish. Shortly after that Chenz116 streamed the Ireland match on his tablet, it was the perfect evening - fishing, football and sunshine. We were both getting bites for a while but it was only nibbles. I moved to the other side of the mark and started to get a few bangs on the rod, all of a sudden the float dived and I was full of excitement, this seemed like a big one. After a good fight the fish finally came to the surface, it was a beauty! It had lovely brown markings was in prefect condition. Again another few pics and straight back in to live another day!

Overall it was a great day and nice to the the wrasse again!
