Its been awhile since I done a report but up to now there has not been much to report,, anyway a plan was to hit some thornebacks with myself and sean,, we decided on a mark that we have never fished before out in conamara,,, after a long hike we found what we where looking for,, Sean was first off the mark with a fine ray to around 7 pound first cast,, his second cast another ray a little smaller,, his thrid cast ray again while I was still waiting on my first nod,nod slack line,, but nod nod alright but a doggie landed blanked saved,, from there on we had rays on every cast and 90% of them where all in the 5 to 10 pound mark,, we had to cut it sort as the god damn midgets came out in force.. we landed over 20 rays and a couple of doggies... all fish where returned alive to fight another day... Lovely ray! fair play, especially from a new mark. Don't talk to me about midget bites my skins still crawling from the weekend

Some nice fish ,Eat garlic cloves before u go out midgets will stay away ( so will ever one else ) but you'll be bite free

That's super fishing lads well done

That was one of the best and busiest session I have even had. The action was constant and most of the fish were a decent size. As Alan said the midgets were a nightmare and we could have stayed on for another few hours but they became unbearable! From now on there will be a can of insect repellent in the tackle box.

Thats some fishing lads there was 3 of us down the weekend and we only had 5 ray between us biggest 5.5 lb so yous done realy well nice 1 great fishing
