Fished 7 - 11.30, high tide 5.15 pm. Strong driving winds
Dave_b, his missus and me
Bait -Sandeel, mackerel and squid

If I was to pick the worst conditions in terms of tide for this location, this was it.A dropping , big tide with winds so strong bite detection was impossible
A very poor evenings fishing that resulted in 2 pout, 1 whiting and a strap conger of 7 or 8 pounds. A good fish actually as it fought hard and livened up an awful evening.

A complete absence of any whiting surprised me, but I would prefer to fish cappa on a rising tide, smaller than thursdays tides. But such is the way of the world and with shift work you take what you can get
