People:myself and 5 other club members
Duration:2 - 7pm
Tide:dropping
Weather:fairly calm, some strong showers
Bait:rag lug mack squid
Rigs:mostly 3 hook flappers
Results:won it with 8 counting fish
Report:nothing what so ever between us plus 2 others on the beach during daylight, as soon as it went dark the fish came on the feed fairly close in.species were prodomanently coalies and flounder plus some codling, whiting, pollack, rockling.all were small with the biggest fish being a flounder of 22cm! :(
at least there were a few fish to give us a bit of sport on the lighter gear.
called into waterfoot pier on the way home, 3 guys were fishing it but had only caught a couple of small whiting between them.
