bit of a late report. After a complete disaster fishing in what turned out to be a puddle in bannow, we dicided to give a local mark a quick shot with 20 rag between us. we were having no luck fishing close in the gutter but mark managed a small schoolie out past the sandbar. I follwed suit and landed another small bass. At this stage we where completely out of bait, and no shop open anywhere. I remembered there was a comp not to far away so we set off to try catch them as they were leaving. We were lucky to stop a guy in a jeep who gave us some lug and mac. (you sir, are a legend) we raced back to our mark to keep going and we weren't diappointed. Mark had another one and i had a schoolie and a decent one of 4.5lbs. It was so good to be hitting fish again as we've had so much bad luck up until now.
It was my first of the season and Mark's first bass ever. He was like a kid at christmas.
