was undecided as to go for a few hours or not then the misses said ( f cough ) out of my way ,so i went
got down onto the rocks around 6.45, there was a big shoal of mullet in front of me and the odd small
sea trout jumping, looking good to sea some fish i thought. so tackled up the rods put one lug on the first rod
cast out about 30 ft put three lug on the second rod and cast onto a sand bar about 45ft out.
within 20 mins the second rod started banging away and struck into my first bass of this season put up a good
fight got him in, so measured it, 26 inches long but very thin so back it went cast back onto the sand bar with 3 lug
had to wait about 30 mins for the next bite on the same rod , this was a small bass at 14 inches but was a lot thicker than
the first . not had a touch on the first rod so i put that away , put three more lug on a cast back to same place
and waited about an hour later after a change of lug the rod tip was banging around again third bass, got it in ,again
put up a good fight measured 25inches but this fish was very thin as well . started raining at 9.30 so packed up
and went home very happy.
