Headed out for a session last nite and there was a surge in fishie activity, plenty of nibbles with the hooks coming back clean most casts , got 2 doggies , a small codling, 1 schoolie about 3lb and a few coalies. Onwards and upwards

Very similar to a session i had the other night. I dropped to size 8s and still couldnt connect with whatever was cleaning the hooks. Might have been crabs but the nibbles seemed a little heavy for them. Managed 3 coalies around the 40-45cms and a doggie tho.

Glad to hear that you have had some success mate, even a 3lb bass is way better than no bass at all, and God knows there has been long enough since there were a few about. show up in numbers shortly. Keep the faith Sean and I am sure they will arrive.
