Duration: 4-8
Tide: Lw to Hw
Weather: Very Very Windy!!!
Bait: Crab lug maddies and mackrell
Rigs: loop rigs and 3h flappers
Results: 3 fish two (28) and (52) flounders and a coalie
Report: 1st cast rod was out for no more than 2 minutes when i got a serious thump on the rod began to reel in but missed what ever was on it

maybe a bass

. Fishing went quiet for me anyway for about a hour, i was trying everything at range, close in ect, Fishing was very difficult to because of the wind i was almost blown off the bank a few times

. I was not able to see any bites so i was just reeling in every 15 minutes. Any way as usual i reeled in after the 15 minutes, there was a small weight on the rod but not much i thought it might of just been a little weed then about 50 yards out it started to get heavy and i seen the white belly of the flounder was delighted but the just as i was bringing it out of the water i seen the other beast on the bottom hook

brought it to shore and i was not chancing bringing it up the bank so i went down the bank and with help for one or two more anglers holding my rod and that i brought it up

measures him he was 52 cm and 2.5lb in weight. delighted

after weighing him i let him back to fight another day

fishing was slow for the next two hours only managing one more fish a coalie. All in all a great comp and a fish i will never forget
