Dublin Bay, 7/4/13.

Sun Apr 07, 2013 8:21 pm

People:Myself, SeanK and a new angler.

Duration: 11.00-13.30

Tide: HW 11ish

Weather: South easterly, dry but cold

Bait: Wraps, lug, mackeral, crab.

Rigs: flappers

Results: A solitary flounder.

Report:
Decided to stay local and get a quick session in this morning. Got to the mark just as the tide was turning to be greeted by the now customary stiff, cold breeze :( Wasn't expecting much after the last few weeks but managed to get a flounder on wraps tipped with mack after about an hour :D I just about stopped myself from doing a full soccer-style celebration with the sheer relief of having actually caught something!! First flounder of the year at 27 cm so happy out, I'd almost forgotten what one looked like  Unfortunately the lads blanked but they'll be back another day I'm sure.
