Report: finally got to Inchydoney after some serous weather . 7 hours drive because of the weather and was I happy to stretch my legs. The sea was un real. The waves hitting the beach were some of the biggest I've ever seen. And I taught I'd never wet a line. So to the pub for the first night. Next day the tide still was high so I waited till that evening and headed for the The beach. Not giving my self much hope I set up both rods and put one far out and one near. After following the beach down for 2 hours I decided to call it a night and when I reeled in I felt a shake and lifting out my very first plaice. 26cm

. I couldn't believe it. The last thing I taught id catch and I've never taught I'd get one this early. So a victory pint in the town and. With the high of the plaice I was down on the beach at 7 the next morning.

Tide was just starting to come and it was starting to calm down so. Was sure I could get something out of it. I missed 1 good take ?. it could of been weed or a fish ill never know. But after been chased up the beach by the tide for 4 hours and only 2 crabs to come in it was time to call it a day. Thanks to ricoshay, alfiebass, jim c, rockyb23,+mickser for the time and help. Much appreciated lads. I'll put up the pics later.
