tried kilcoole beach yesterday for the first time. great weather for walking on the beach but crap for fishing. few people out bait fishing and spinning but nothing caught. wasnt even a roll on the sea, looked like a lake. great to get out for the day.
any advice on kilcoole?? does is usually fish well at certain times/tides?

Fished Kilcoole and newcastle allot, Its not a great place for numbers and best its given me is flounder... Iv heard storys of bass and cod but never seen one my self...
But I will hit them again because they are a great beach for a BBQ on a late night session.

tKilcoole and especially newcastle to the right have been especially slow the last few years but killoughter will throw up a decent mixed bag coming into the summer its the 3rd exit down from kilcoole....
