DogMaster,
Where abouts on the beach were you fishing? I wouldn't write off Newcastle completely as I have found it can throw up quite good catches now and again.

Hey Col,

We were fishing a couple of hundred meters north of the train stop.....
Where have you found usefull?

I fish anywhere on the beach really and found it all pretty much the same but where you went, a couple of hundred yards north, has a better reputation.I haven't had any better success here so just wondered why most head up that direction, or mabye its just I'm doing somethig wrong.
