Report:
Had planned a long session today, as prior things fell through, freeing me up to fsh. Headed out to west Connemara. got to a bait spot at low water, diggin giant lug! found some sandeel and clam too, happy days.
then things started to go wrong...
had decided to fish a beach in daylight flood, then after dark go to a pier for easier fishing. Only, couldn't find any of the beach marks I wished to try out. Due to the horrid wind, my regular beaches were off the cards, and the ones I wanted, couldn't find due to shoddy vague maps.
Then got Van bogged inmud on a boreen. Luckily I'd a lump of carpet in the back, this cut up helped free Big Red(the van).
in desperation to wet a line, I stopped at the first viable shore mark that wasn't blowing a gale into it. 40 mins, fresh baits, 4 rods, not a touch. couldn't bare driving another 40 mins to the nearest viable pier as it was already 8pm, so packed up, headed for home and tucked into G&T's and wild boar sausages.
Not a total waste of a day as did find a fairly good sandeeel mark.
just would have rather more line/water/fish time.

Don't say that to her, she thinks she's a jinx already!
I found a few of the marks, but they were rocky/hike ones, and not into dark will I fish unknown marks.
At least you got a few fish!
