People: myself and me
Duration: 7.30 to2.30
Tide: low to high
Weather: nw breezy then calming
Bait: lug, mack, fresh peelers
Rigs: 3 hook flappers and pully pennel
Results: Whiting and 5b rockling
Report: headed out with the mind set to try get something big so fished two rods one with the 3 hook flapper and the fished a pully pennel with a big crab bait rods out first cast had Whiting on the flapper let the crab bait out and recast the flapper sat down.watching rods out of nowere the rod with the crab on got smashed hard and pulled over the pod I jumped and grabed it and the rod doubled I had to give it line and was not gaining any back it shot along the beach line to the right of the river I cudnt stop it then it went solid so I left rod down wit loose line for a few mins but to no avail after a few mins
of trying to get ur free the line broke I was heartbroke to say the least as for the rest of the nite I ended up with over 60 white and one 5b rocking a busy nite to say the least. biggest Whiting was 27cm
