Report: It was difficult to find fresh bait midweek, so I decided to give frozen lugs a go. I went to what I believed to be my "old faithful" : Greystones pier. I knew the temperature was near zero, but the wind made it much worse. The bright side is that I had the whole pier just for myself. I could try all the spots I wanted : near the wall, or at distance, inside the harbor, in its mouth, or sea side, where the sea was a bit rough... I only caught a flounder at distance on the sea side. It looks like that pier isn't as reliable as it was last month. Did somebody had more success down there recently ? I wanted to try harder, but I couldn't feel my hands anymore and I gave up (I have to find some decent gloves...). It is always nice to fish under the moonlight and these polished stones made a great background for the picture of my flounder, so I went home frozen but happy
