Bait:lugworm
Rigs:pulley and flappers
Results: 2 flounder, 1 pin whiting
Report: Havent been out in a while due to family commitments so decided on trying out a few of our winter marks for some codling. Very poor session was had, not many bites,tried distance but nothing taking big baits so shorter casts were tried and a few smaller fish were landed. Still a bit early for the bigger codling and the water temp isnt quite there yet either but there should be a lot of smaller ones around but just not on this occasion.

At least you got out, it's easy to get out of the routine of regular fishing trips when other commitments crop up. Hopefully your appetite has been whetted and you'll get back into the swing of things.
