reckon that was a wee 'kelp cod' Brian, very dark. i put on bigger flies and also tried spinners and big soft plastics too for a bit.. no big cod about!saving private brian wrote:great to see you got a small codling on the fly,,,could that not give you a hint that there could be bigger cod in the area aswell,,,im sure the wee cod feed on the same ground as the bigger ones
