Report:Arrived at Killoughter at 5.30pm to see a flat calm sea and no wind happy days.Myself and J1 set up 2 rods each 1 for in close and the other 4 out,the 1st cast was out about 100 yards with a single hook trace i had mackerel and Jason had Crab but the run was 2 strong to catch any fish we casted out again to the far right but within 5 mins our gear was on the beach to the right of us.So we had to fish in close in around 30 to 40 yards but the problem with that was the weed, and there was a lot of it 4 about 2 hours but we did get some fish out from it Pat got 3 Dogs and some nice Dabs Jason got Dogs,Whiting & Dabs i only got 1 Pin Whiting.The was 3 other anglers on the beach and they were catching Dogs and Whiting and WEED.The Weed wend off about 2 hours from high water but so did the fish so we packed up at 10.20pm and headed home.We will try it again soon............

it's a hard beach to fish on big tides,,
well done for getting a few fish
