Report:
We headed up early today to catch the high tide at Glenarm.

'twas a lovely day and the hats and coats came off at 1100 because it was too warm... in November!!!!!

Started off slowly today and my second cast resulted in a snap off and birds-nest - I had changed to a lighter weight and forgot to tighten the brake!!!!!

Once we got settled down and began concentrating we statred to get some good results.

Lots of big doggies, all fighting well and a real challenge to land on the breakwater

After trying spinning and floating baits with no luck, I changed over onto a ledger rig with mackerel on my spinning rod - 3 big doggies in succession - great fun on light gear.

A good day all in all, weather was good and we were catching decent fish (even though it was mostly doggies).

Bad ending to the day when my bro took a nasty fall on the rocks, his chin took the brunt of the damage and he wa pretty shook up after the fall. Nothing was broken - thank God (except his reel  ) - bad luck mate!!!
