People:me, ter,razorbright, seamus

Duration:4 hours

Tide:dropping

Weather: a little southerly

Bait:mack,oysters,clam and surprise

Rigs:flappers,pulley,runner

Results:a cracking nights fishing, we were aiming for bass, and a bit of a fish meet and we were not disappointed a bloody brill night the crack was 90 , the company was sound, the fish were obliging and no one got hurt ,well not seriously (thanks seamus)! razor was the first in fish a wee bass around 14 lb + i forgot to take ruler and scales but we were loaded to the gills tonight with cameras and camera phones so we got some nice pictures .ter was in next with a nice sea trout about 2lb, then everything went mental ,i was in next with a trout just over 1.5lb and then razor again a trout over a 1lb , seamus's both rods went mental he landed 1 trout and lost the other about 10ft out , all this was in the space half a hour( i think) it must have been very funny to see four idiots running up and down the beach casting, baiting up , landing fish and hooking each other . then everything went quite for about a hour or so seamus caught a flattie he didn't even bother taken it out of the water for a picture , ter caught a nice flounder a bit later. and then there was nothing for next hour and a half so we packed up. it was great to meet the lads and catch some fish i'll try and upload the pictures i have ter and razor have some they said they up load as well.

I've read several reports where people have forgotten scales or measuring tape and were unable to measure a good fish (including myself). Try this link for self-adhesive measuring tape in metric and imperial. I have fitted it to a few of my rods and it works very well. You can't forget it unless you forget the rod and it costs next to nothing! ; http://www.journalcraft.co.uk/pop-tape- ... -591-p.asp
