After having a dismell two months with no decent fish since 15th of May and after been out on the boat all weekend, I still hadn't manged to get a good fish.We decided to try a usual mark that had been hammered by the storms and all the fresh water of late and had been unfishable.
When we arrived we met a lad that said he had being fishing it with the last 2hrs with nothing so it didn't sound to promising. On getting in the water, conditions were perfect , the water was crystal clear and packed with sand eel.
We started hitting fish within the third or fourth cast. The action has thick and fast with five fish landed in the first 30 minutes.
The action slowed if you call it that, untill the light had faded when they came back with vengeance with another 5 landed .
In total we landed 10 and missed another 5.This was without doubt the best day iv had out.The fish weren't massive from 3lbs to 5lb 12oz but that didnt matter. Two fish were kept and the rest went on there merry way.Pictures arent great but ull get the idea.
Ill be heading back out tonight let hope its the same again
