Well headed down to my local mullet mark yesterday evening and got a couple. There was a shoal of small fish picking off any small bits of dough sinking and I managed to hook one, my call would be sand smelt.

I'm reckoning those sand smelt would be a nice little live bait for bass.

we're still waiting for our marks to liven up for them yet, but not much longer to go
