Well after the session out West i didnt feel like a major drive to my other favorite haunt so I decided to try this ol place, its always been good to me over the years, and manages to throw up surprises every now and again, over the past years, I've had naked women, lads offering cans of beer, and some other wierd experiences during the nights!! Oh and theres also fish! Once again this ol beach decided to play with my head again, I had a little bait left over from the Out West trip and rather then letting it go to waste, use it up, lines out I wasnt expecting much maybe the odd fish, and set out the bass rod with the mackerel rigs on (love light fishing for mackerel) first cast in rather large sandeels!??! Ok I have in the past foul hooked sandeels BUT these weren't foul hooked!! They took the sabikis!! right in the mouth
then the shore rods started taking knocks, dog fish were on the prowl and teh dogs were around the 1lb mark, second cast in and damn more sandeels!??! then the Shore rods again launched into more dogs, with my arms still hurting from Mayo this was getting unreal, Im not normally this lucky!!! But the sandeels were a welcomed sight as this weekend I'm off to Kerry to give three marks a bash down there

HAPPY DAYS KEVIN!! loads of fresh free bait. hard to beat a bit of free bait man
