Had a great few days down in deepest West Cork fishing with a few friends from the UK and Ireland. The recent cold weather has obviously slowed things up however we did land some decent fish to including pollack to 8.lbs 4.oz, wrasse to just under 5.lbs, and some cracking dabs in a ten species haul which saw us land huss, dogfish, conger, thick lipped mullet, golden grey mullet, pollack, wrasse, dab, launce, and mackerel.

Recognise the mark ! Lol !
Fished there twice on my recent trip , but no joy whatsoever. I gave it a couple of hours, but on
both occasions, it was a falling tide. Bait was freshly dug lug and launce.
I noticed a landowner had placed a 'keep out' sign on a little headland close-by. Perhaps anglers are
leaving too much crap or damaging fences and walls ?
I filled a bag with line that some idiot had left on the rocks ( after a birds nest).
