Weather:sunny and a nice easterly breeze

Bait: razor and peeler

Rigs:two hook clipped

Results: one lovely slug




Report:i knew with the huge sea,s and biting wind a 50 foot cast would be all you would get off a beach with the lead landing back at your feet in a ball of weed 5 min later ,so went to bray harbour drove the van down to give myself a nice little sun trap / wind block to say the sea looked good was an understatement i could smell the fresh cod and chips boy was i wrong baits untouched at all distances besides a few nibbles in close ,stuck on a rig with size 4 hooks and managed to hook a slug in close to beat the dreaded check book and pen it was nice to get out and great to get a break in the rain for a few hours on the last day of spring judging by todays weather summer is here with a BANG !

I take it the wind was in the wrong direction?

no too many nutters going down the wall to see if a big wave would wash them off and into the harbour to be honest alot of them looked like they left the wheelchair in the car just to add a bit more bwvado to the situation!
