Pollinadivva Pier, Co. Sligo 22-10-05

Mon Oct 24, 2005 9:59 am

Fished during daylight and caught some small pollock spinning. The ground here is rough and not particularly deep although a good run of tide sweeps around the pier head. Seen a shoal of really large mullet, some were easily over specimen weight, milling around the pier. Didn't have the proper gear for them but with groundbaiting it would be possible to tempt one. Looks like the kind of place sea-trout or bass would haunt aswell.
