three beaches in wicklow 17/4/12

Duration:7 till 11.30
Tide:full at 11ish
Weather:strong southerly wetish
Bait:rag lug crab
Rigs:cascade and pully
Results:bass ,flounder,whiting,dogs,rockling,smoothhound
Report:set up on first mark perfect surf then realized we would be washed off the beach well before high tide eric got a small flounder 15 min later packed up and short trip to beach no2 ,more exposed and surf was all over the place like fishing in a washing machine
5 min later packed up and headed to mark no 3 
thank god conditions where perfect and our escape route looked good ,nice shelter and a steady enough flow of fish ,one and only bass came after dusk followed by dogs ect eric managed a few whiting out at distance and i got my first smoothy of the year only a pup but great to see 
eric took a few pics so he may put em up if he,s not sulking 
oh we had to move once more about an hour before hw as we ran out of beach again,only 30 yards this time

sounded like a bit of a rollercoaster,having to change marks a few times.well done on the smoothie 
only caught a couple of tiny pups too but there is something oddly satisfying about those cue little guys

it was bad yesterday, got out for an hr myself and between the cold wind and lashing rain i couldnt wait to get home 
well done on ur pup, hope the bigger 1s are on the way.

Fair play rodger and a pup is a pup... so there on the way...coming to a beach near you oh! and the bass any size to it...

Nice one roger, good session, get this eric guy to post the pics before I find out where he lives and throw papers in his garden.

the bass was what i call a lucky bass 39 cm
the flounder where so full if you gave their belly a little light squeeze they threw up a few shrimp for ya
