People:Mise, Barry agus Anthony.
Duration:07:00 to 14:30
Tide:High at approximately 07:20 & 08:30
Weather:Rainy, dull, approximately 9 degress, moderate to fresh south to southwesterly breezes, medium to small sized waves, mostly good water clarity.
Bait:N/A
Rigs:Ilex iShad, Ilex Water Monitor, Ilex Bow Stick, Gold Kilty catcher, Savage-gear eel, Greeny creamish Slimcode V, Maria Chase, Zonk Gataride, Blues Slimcode V, Maria amnis, Tackle House feedshallow, Tackle House sinking node, Komono II (replica) and a Hart Absolut worm.
Results:1 sea trout (taken on the Ilex Water Monitor).
Report:We thought the West/South westerlies stirring things up would have brought a few bass on the feed but alas it wasn't to be - well not on lures for us anyway. As you can see we threw a lot at it. If I'm chucking lures at nothing in particular I'm delighted with a sea trout but when I'm targetting bass I'm disappointed when I land one. He swam away when I was cleaining him in the water for his photo - slimey git. He was under a pound.

A sea trout is a lovely catch but you know how it is - when you're targetting a different species any other species is a slight disappointment. Most certainly better than a blank though!
Thanks,

Fair play to you John,
I nearly headed West Waterford way myself only I was in no shape after going to the Leinster game on Saturday.
Shouldn't be too long before it gets going down that way.
