Report: picked up some quality frozen bait From boycie from his new shop in shankill. Must say was really impressed with the set up and the prices were spot on. Decided to try whiterock because I know it can fish very well for flounder over low water and there was always the chance of a sneaky early bass. Sadly however all I got during daylight was a verocious green shore crab that tool the finger off me.
It was until dusk that the fish started to make an appearance when dogs and whiting started coming in from distance. With a fish coming in every cast it was a lovely busy session but I was in need of a fatty because it's been quite a while since I've landed one. I cheeky cast in closer yielded a splendid 25cm dab that made my day. Last cast I tried even closer and missed a good bite from a definite flatty. Sad enough the venue has become a bit Barron but lovely to be back out again
