JUST TAUGHT ID POST THIS IN CASE ANYONE ELSE WAS THINKING OF HEADING THERE,
well myself and dave were trying to decide where to go for a bit of decent fishing , at first we were thinking of hitting a wexford beach and had planned to leave early the monday morning, but it was my birthday on the sunday and i decided to have a little drink or 2 the night before our trip.,, anyways to shorten the story , when i finaly woke up it was 1pm and way to late to head for wexford, (i live in drogheda) , so we fliped a coin for either killoughter or killiney, and killiney it was , , every cast came back in the way it went out, bait wasnt touched at all ! and then when we decided to jack it in , on the last cast i caught a decent size edible crab , with only one nipper! so i let him back,,,,, GUESS WE SHOULD HAVE TRIED KILLOUGHTER INSTEAD      was still good to get out away from the wife and kids hahahaaha

Was on Killiney beach on sun.

Got there at 4pm and stayed till 11, all we got was 2 rockling.

There was fish there becuse we got nice bite and a slack line but I lost the fish after a few seconds.

Very comfortable beach tho.

Most important is where exactly were you fishing?

Straight out from the carpark or down by the tearooms?

Killiney is a strange beach at times and i will be heading straight for the dirty stuff on Saturday 8)

At this time of year the only place that is fishy is the tea rooms sadly
