Results:4 pollock, 1 dog fish
Report:Havent fished at the blue pool for years so we thought we would give it a go and see what happened. Carried all the gear from the car and procceded to get set up. I baited up both pennal rigs with sand eels and cast them out. They werent in the water very long when 1 of them gave a nod then stopped moving so I let it be, knowing there was crabs in the area .
Then my 2nd rod went mad, bowing and nodding so i grabed it and started to wind in and a dog fish broke the surface, Martin hadnt even got his lines in the water , thats how quick I got the strike.
Got the fish landed but wasnt as big as last weeks fish, only about 18 or 19" but I was still pretty happy with it.
Threw it back in and waited but all we seemed to get was stripped hooks from the crabs.
Martin wasnt having a good night as he had a few problems with 1 of his reels but he kept going.
Nothing much happened then for about 3 hours when I hit into a small shoal of pollock and they were small, all in all I caught 4 of them and released them.
After this nothing happened so at about 12 we packed up and headed home.
Not as many fish as last week but again was nice to actually catch some.

Good report dude

Pity about my night but you had some fun out there. I don't know what was in the boot of my car last night but it smelt like a chicken house this morning. Had to drive to work with the windows down, reekin
Cheers for the company,
Monty
