Report:
Sport wasn't hectic by any means, but we did manage 7 species!
Bingham was fishing in the middle and down the side, mostly targetting Rockling, he got 5 beards and Shoreys so that was another 2 species up for the year, nice one man, He also got some Pollack, Whiting and Coalies.
I was fishing a rod in the middle with a 2 up 1 down setup, Managed a few Coalies and Whiting on this setup, which was great fun on the light flattie rod.
Gabbey wasnt having trouble finding the fish, he was just having a hell of a time hooking them, using a shop bought trace the hooks weren't good enough to give any kind of hold, he did manage a couple of whiting in the end but he was well annoyed with the hooking ability on his rig.
I fished one over the back as well with lug/mack wraps on a Loop Rig, had a few brilliant bites, and was rewarded with a couple of 30cm+ Chunky Whiting, Finished the night with a wee female doggie which give a good account of herself under the rod tip.
All in all a great wee night and fun to be on a local venue again
Oh and many thanks to Al who met me in Bangor with a load of bait! LEGEND!
