Weather:still,calm,sunny
Bait:crab,lug, squid, sandeel, rubbers
Rigs:pulley and two hook flappers
Results:cod, mullet, dogd, huss and conger
Just finished a couple of days guiding with some guests whe were very much beginners at sea fishing.
Put out crab, lug, mussel, squid baits for cod and fisnished the day catching cod spinning rubber eels and mullet on a Dexter Wedge!
After trying to explain that this was most unusual we went out next day for huss and at least that was normal with doggies (of course) and a few nice huss on sandeel and squid.
I was still throwing a rubber eel about and had a savage take which resulted in a strap conger about 5 lbs.
If the beginners were confused then so was I
