Decided to head out for a few hours for a bit of lazy fishing. Headed down to the harbour with a mate, his first fishing adventure. Got down around 9 or so, there was a lad just set up who turned out to be sparkey please to meet you sparky.Set up a rod each a quick demo and away we went, first cast produced fish whitening as usual. had a couple more fish before the rain came down, my apprentice wasn't to happy turns out he doesn't like the rain. He had a decent enough pouting and a rockling aswell as some whitening i had the same wasn't a bad couple of hours cant the fresh sea air

It was good to meet you too andy. The fishing wasn't to bad, I had a very decent 5beard and a half decent 3beard. And the usual whiting and a few small pouting.

Its a shame that the rain came, otherwise it would off been a pleasant nite. Nothing better than lazy fishing in the winter. I would off thought there would off been atleast 1-2 doggie's around. Maybe tonite where ever I fish I will get a few.
