Report:
It was off to North down, where the fish are that little bit more posh for a few hours beach fishing, wasn't expecting much as generally all we seem to pick up here are the hordes of whiting which at the very least keep the rods nodding at night. There was a bit of variety though, Gabbey had picked up a Doggie before we arrived, and then, when we got there we dragged him to the opposite end of the beach from where he'd been fishing, and he managed a clonking seatrout along with a 1lb13oz Coalfish, lovely bit of beach fishing. We stayed an extra 2 n a half hours to try and contact one of these better fish, but the whiting were voracious and got to the biggest of the baits... damn it... Still a good night and great to see a couple of fish...
