Magnet and Myself at moment notice decided to hit a beach that fished ok during the xmas hols, target species Rocklings
We arrived on low water to suss out the gullies again so we could fish them better once the tide flooded in.
Magnet took the honours of 1st fish a nice flounder of 33cm

Up next cast I managed 2 small flounders and we taught we where in for a few more, but several fishless casts later and running back up the beach with flooding tide hot on our heels, magnet struck again into this we beauty

At 1st we taught it was a good eel as there common on this beach then a bass when i saw the bar of silver but even happier to see that chappy landed
Quick photo and released. Just few pin whiting and 2 rockling to myself so mission accomplished we headed for home and plans for a we Tue eve flutter was arranged so keep yee posted on our next venture

Seems to be a bit of a revival north of the boyne,wonder how laytown is fishing ,ill have to try it and see,last time ir was packed with whiting,anyway cracking fish lads well done,what did the trout take?
