People:Seirt,myself

Duration:4hrs

Tide:flood

Weather:warm, touch South easterly

Bait:lug,mac,crab,squid,mussel

Rigs:flowing, 3up

Results:seirt 2 rockling, me 2 small cod,2 rockling, 1 flounder, 1 coalie

Report:We took a chance on Tinnaberna as it usually throws up a few cod round this time year, so armed with great bait we headed down to be greeted by a nice surf on the beach and headed up to the left as usually fishes better. Cod was the target of this trip.

1st cast a small flounder
2nd cast small coalie
3rd cast Codling of 39 :D

Then nothing for a while till Seirt got a rockling, left us scratching our heads to why so poor? Was it this mild weather? Was it slight Easterly? :?: :?: So we moved up the beach so see what might happen on the dropping tide, on my 2nd cast i managed a double rockling but no cod :(

1 more move back towards the car park saw me get another smaller cod but not what we no can come of this beach

At round 9 we called it quits and packed up for long spin home still scratching our heads as to why such poor fishing from this great beach.

i think its outfished , is one of my favourite spots in ireland for the bass and tope, but go there a few times during the summer, and you could have 20 anglers every night, i think more than outfished between anglers and swimmers the sea bed is very disturbed, thats my outlook on tinnaberna????
