People: MYSELF
Duration: 3 HOURS
Tide: UP
Weather: COLD
Bait: PEELER, SANDEEL
Rigs: PULLIES AND FLAPPERS
Results: DOGS, FLATTIES, WHITTING
Report:
Bit the bullet and diciced to get out for a few hours and headed to my winter mark. Started out with big baits to tempted any codling or even a conger like my last trip here but all i got was the (tap tap tap) from the whitting, so on the one rod a kept the big bait and through on a flapper to pick them up and it was the right move picking up all the fish and not picking anything up with the big bait

Not the best pics because Charlotte wont come fishing in the cold. lol

well done nick. its good to get out.
prob not rough enough for the codling there - except the few i had the week previous. i find it takes a good swell pushing in for a day or two before they turn up there.

3 species from 1 mark in 1 session is a pretty good way to kick the year off nicki
any codling we've had from there were taken off the point down the steps, casting straight across the beach man. might be worth a chuck next time
